HEYMAN HUSTLE guest Taylor Momsen of "Gossip Girl" has exploded on the music scene with her band "The Pretty Reckless," and the music industry has definitely taken notice!
Already signed to Interscope with a CD scheduled to hit this Fall, The Pretty Reckless have torn it up on the stages of New York City nightclubs, with ROLLING STONE stating "Even though she’s a big fan of Blondie and Hole, Momsen’s first songs sound closer to the power-punk of Avril Lavigne on “He Loves You” while “Zombie” falls into Amy Lee territory."
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY just posted a review of the band's demo, stating For a band fronted by a 16-year-old, the Pretty Reckless has already accomplished plenty: Star-studded gigs, Twitter feuds with Courtney Love, the works.
And to top it off, Taylor's acting career is about to hit a brand new high.

Gossip Girl's executive producer Stephanie Savage has revealed that Taylor Momsen will be pushed to the front of the show in the upcoming third season, which kicks off September 14th on The CW Network. Savage revealed that Momsen's high-school character Jenny will be on a mission to maintain her new-found Queen Bee status.
"We really do see Jenny struggling with what she is going to do with this power that has been given to her," Savage said. "She is back at Constance and now she is a junior - the same age as our other girls when the show started - so we have lots of story areas for Jenny that are opening up."
Of course, we think Taylor's career highlight was HER APPEARANCE ON THE HEYMAN HUSTLE, but we're just a little biased in our thought process around here.
