Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson have been seen all over Midtown Manhattan shooting scenes for the new movie "The Other Guys," which also co-stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.

Johnson and Jackson are gun-toting police officers in the film, which also has Michael Keaton and Eva Mendes as part of the all-star cast. "The Other Guys" is being directed by Adam McKay, who wrote the screenplay along with Chris Henchy. Johnson and Jackson play Danson and Manzetti, while Ferrell plays Detective Allen Ganble, and Wahlberg plays Detective Terry Hoitz.

The film is being touted as the action-comedy hit of next summer, and is scheduled for release on August 6, 2010.
