StrikeForce CEO Scott Coker brings his Mixed Martial Arts promotion back home to the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California tomorrow night (Saturday, June 26, 2010) with a triple main event that has Northern California fight fans buzzing.
In a match that has global implications on the MMA game, Fedor Emelianenko will step into the cage against multi-time Brazilian Jui Jitsu World Champion Fabricio Werdum. This is a most interesting matchup, especially because Werdum holds a rare victory over Fedor's brother Aleksander.
Werdum and Aleksander fought in Rotterdam, Holland on November 12, 2006 in a fight broadcast on EuroSport (CLICK HERE TO SEE A VIDEO OF THE FIGHT). In a shocker, Werdum forced Aleksander to tap out with an arm triangle choke.
