She says she doesn't want to be like Courtney Love, but 16 year old "Gossip Girl" superstar and "Pretty Reckless" lead singer Taylor Momsen has become a lightning rod for controversy, much like Courtney in the early 1990s.
Taylor appeared on the breakfast tv show "This Morning" in London, showing off her rock chic fashion, and it just went haywire from there.
Responding to questions about the pressure of fame, Taylor blurted out "There is (pressure) if you care, and if you just do what I do, you just don't give a shit ... oh, can I not say that?" "No, not really," host Philip Schofield said. "But we apologize for that."

When questioned about her choice of attire, Taylor laughed in the hosts' faces, saying "Am I supposed to dress (like this) when I'm 30? ... Isn't this (the time in my life) when I'm supposed to be able to wear anything?"
Taylor added, "I don't really understand! I graduated from high school two years ago ... I am my own boss."

"I don't wanna be Courtney Love ... I wanna be Kurt Cobain." Taylor exclaimed, "He's brilliant and his songs are genius. The Hole records are great. Everyone always compares me to Courtney Love because they think we like dress the same and we both have blond hair, wear lipstick and dresses. But I'm sorry, don't a lot of girls dress like that? I look at Nirvana. I don't look at Hole."
